Do It Yourself: Braided Headband 

This super easy headband looks suspiciously similar to the those that you see at the mall, but don't be fooled! I made it myself from just a few simple household items, and you can too! 

You'll Need:
-1 t-shirt of any color
-1 hair elastic
-A needle and thread
-scissors

To Make It:
1) Cut three long strips (about 24" long and 3/4'' wide) from the shirt.
2) Tie all three of them together with a basic knot.
3) Start braiding them together.
4) When the headband is almost long enough to wind around your head, tie another knot and cut the ends.
5) Cut the hair elastic in half.
6) Using needle and thread, sew each end of the hair elastic onto the ends of the headband.

The end result is a super cute stretchy braided headband that you made practically free of cost!
